The first full week of Euro 2024 action begins today with the opening match of Group E between Romania and Ukraine at the Allianz Arena.

Romania will be looking to make a strong start to their campaign, having failed to score in six of their nine group stage games at the UEFA European Championship. They have scored exactly two goals in each of the other three matches.

Ukraine, meanwhile, will be hoping to build on their impressive performance at Euro 2020, where they reached the quarter-finals. They will be without their talismanic captain, Andriy Yarmolenko, who is injured.
